Sleep

Since Conor is having the struggle with daytime sleep these days, I wanted to post some sleep pictures of him to remind ME that it can happen...sometimes...they are pretty cute. Enjoy!
Conor waking up from a nap recently. The hands always have to be up!
The Cougar Cub in his sleepy slumber.
Taking a cat nap on the floor. Those were the days...
This was back when we solved the first sleep issue...getting to sleep...he was a constant companion to Nana Brice while she was knitting on the couch so I could do some sewing. Now as I hear it...the knitting needle was only put down for the picture.
Waking up from another nap with his "old man" pants on. No offense to any "old men" out there.
This is from the good ol' days. A day old in the hospital and passed out!

Can we say "Ouch"??

Conor had his first round of vaccinations yesterday at his two month checkup. Poor kid. I have never seen that shade of red on his face before. After giving us the what for, he took his soothie from me, turned his skin color back to ghostly white, and promptly went to sleep for his longest nap since he was a newborn!
This pic was taken that night just to record how cute his little bandaids were from the event. One was Daffy Duck and the other was Charlie Brown in a space suit. Very cute. He was crying from an un-related matter. Probably something to do with a diaper change that he didn't agree with.

Easter

We traveled to Bellingham to have Easter with my family at my sister's house. We had a most excellent time as you can see by the pics below. Enjoy!

Papa and Tristen enjoying a snuggle while watching the Masters Golf Tournament.

We also celebrated both Lauren and Kaden's birthdays while we were up. Here are the kids next to their birthday cakes made by Heather.

Lauren loves the pink hat that Aunt Aimee gave her.

Conor's first cabin trip

This past weekend we decided it was time to show Conor what life on the Island is like. Whidbey Island to be exact. So we planned a nice long weekend so he could really get the hang of it. I think he did all right! There was some adjusting to temperature, the cabin is a bit cooler than his nice warm room at home, the walks are a little chillier since the air comes right off the ocean, but there are so many cool things to see and look at!

For some reason Conor didn't seem to like this mode of travel. Maybe the carseat isn't that bad after all...

Here is Tim and Conor (brown hoodie) on one of our daily walks on the beach. Despite our pessimistic attitude about it raining (note umbrella) it only spit on us. After we got back from this particular walk, the skies cleared and the sun came out. Sweet sauce!

A very tired guy...who is also a lil' Coug.

Bailey found a pretty short stick this time for our walk. Usually, they are at least 6 feet long. I still don't know how she goes 3 miles with a 6 foot long stick.

Since I have been "banned" from the likes of chocolate and dairy products by the little guy in the photo, I decided to take up eating ginger snaps on the island (apparently snickerdoodles are not popular fanfare at the local grocery mart). And no, I didn't eat the whole bag while I was up there.

Since it is a little chillier up at the cabin, the lil' guy had to learn about keeping himself warm (good prep for camping trips). We decided that a nice cozy fleece sleeper will help the process. Where's mine??

The return of "Gooferious"!!! And ferocious as ever!

Visit from Auntie-Jew

Conor received a visit this past weekend from his Auntie-Jew or Tim's sister Jewlee. Here are some of the pics that commemorated the event. Enjoy!

Conor and his Aunt Jew. Does Jewlee look just a little bit happy? Tone down that smile Jew!

Bath Time

Tim and Conor have a special bond. They both really love bath time. Here are some photos from bath time.
Conor's first bath at the hospital.

Uh, Dad? I could be mistaken but I think that this is supposed to be IN the sink.

Then I am pretty sure that you need to add water. You've done this BEFORE DAD, c'mon! Stop messin' with me!

Dad, you got it just right.
