Conor's shopping day

Conor after his first shopping trip to Target. Need I say more?

A day in the life of Conor

Here are some cute pics that we have taken over the past few days of Conor. An update on Bailey...she is now more noticeably sticking closer to where Tim, Conor, and I are in the house. She even got up for the 4:30am feed this morning and scratched at Conor's door to be let in. Tim and I still believe that she thought it was food time for her too, but it is encouraging that she wants to be near us with Conor.
Conor and his soothie, he is quite the sucker.

Conor and my sister Heather are enjoying nap time together. Please note - he is giving quite the hug to his future cousin. Heather is due in two weeks! What a guy.

Here is a very relaxed Conor after his first bath at home. We affectionately call these hands his "rapper" hands. They move and flail like he is performing some kind of rap song.

Here's Conor in his knee high socks. We call them his Sunday dress socks.

Here's the dude with a full belly. Looks so peaceful. If only we could all take a nap after our lunch, eh?

Birthing Eve

So here are a few pics of me the night before Vern (Conor) was born. We had a scheduled induction due to some blood pressure issues, so it was easy to schedule the night before pictures. Looking back, I can't believe the little dude fit into that bump! He was crammed in there!

Those of you who know how I Wii bowl...well, it reminded us of hurling a large bowling ball down the alley...

Here is a pic of my sisters and I at a baby shower they threw for me about a week and a half before Conor came. My sister Aimee is in the middle and my sister Heather is on the right, she is due the first week of March. And watch out for little Fruitloop standing at our legs!

Conor Schuyler Sullivan

On February 18, 2009 at 7:31 pm, Tim and I said hello to our new son, Conor. He weighed 8 lbs. 4 oz. and measured 20 inches long. He is the cutest thing on the face of the earth (I think that the dog now knows she has to share the top spot, if not give it up!). Bailey is adjusting well, we think. She seems to do a lot more listening and observing of the new sounds that Conor brings to the house. Surprisingly, Conor and the Paddington (the prairie dog) share a few sounds of their own (lots of wimper type things). However, we have not noticed them communicating yet. Cole the cat could care less about the new addition, however, we have noticed that he doesn't even show up for food until 6pm at night, at least 5 hours later! Maybe the screams keep him away. Here are a few pics of Conor and the fam from the hospital. Enjoy!

Conor chillin' before being discharged from the hospital. The last good swaddle he received...
