So you think you can dance - Lauren Style

On one of my trips up to Bellingham Lauren was determined to have her own "So you think you can dance" competition. I was the Jeh-jez (judges) and my mother was Cat Dealey. Kaden, Tristen, Conor, and Pama were innocent bystanders held hostage.

Here is Lauren "dancing for her life". Actually, every dance she performed she was dancing for her life.
And here is Cat Dealey at her finest. I don't think that Tristen knew what to think of this Nana turned British Dance Show Host that was holding him.
Can you tell that Kaden wasn't that into the performance?

In the end Lauren got her ticket to "Begas". Thank goodness.

Easter

We traveled to Bellingham to have Easter with my family at my sister's house. We had a most excellent time as you can see by the pics below. Enjoy!

Papa and Tristen enjoying a snuggle while watching the Masters Golf Tournament.

We also celebrated both Lauren and Kaden's birthdays while we were up. Here are the kids next to their birthday cakes made by Heather.

Lauren loves the pink hat that Aunt Aimee gave her.

Conor and Tristen enjoying each other's company. "Who is that kid next to me??"

Visit from Auntie-Jew

Conor received a visit this past weekend from his Auntie-Jew or Tim's sister Jewlee. Here are some of the pics that commemorated the event. Enjoy!

Conor and his Aunt Jew. Does Jewlee look just a little bit happy? Tone down that smile Jew!

Birthday Celebrations!

Last weekend we celebrated my sister, Heather, and my dad's birthday's. It was extremely chaotic with a nearly 5 year old who needed to play teacher with everyone in attendance (this is intense teaching too!) a nearly 3 year old who is constantly into everything and has the fastest hands in the west, and two newborns who are constantly feeding, pooping, or in my case crying. Here are some pics that show the highlights.

Kaden, my nephew, loves glasses and I mean LOVES! We are constantly telling him "Glasses stay on!". Nana let him borrow her glasses for the weekend. He had them on the whole time, but they kept falling down his nose. Too cute. Plus, each time he would try and walk anywhere he had to wear them on the tip of his nose so he could see over the glasses!
Here is Lauren, my niece. She found this magnifying glass and put it to good use.

Here is Heather and Tristen. Tristen is the calmest, melow-ist infant any of us have ever seen.

Pama, my grandma, reading "Bread and Jam for Francis" to Lauren. Pama was Lauren's favorite play-mate all night.

Cousins Visit from Cali

In mid-November, Tim's cousins, Laura and Chelsea, from California came up for a visit, their men, Bob and Eric, in tow. It was great to see them. Chelsea celebrated her birthday up here and we (along with Marc, Michelle, and kids; Tim's brother's family) took them to the Redhook Brewery for lunch and a tour. What a tour! I couldn't believe how many free samples they gave out. I believe that everyone had a great time. We then had dinner at Marc and Michelle's house. Here are a few pics from the day.
Here are Alexa (Marc and Michelle's oldest daughter) and Chelsea discussing whether or not Chelsea knows how to read the book in Alexa's hands. It was a very in-depth discussion. I believe that Chelsea eventually convinced Alexa that her teaching degree gave her enough experience to read the book correctly.

Here is Laura and Marc and Michelle's cat, Ollie, bonding on the coach. Cute cat, but he does have a wild side for sure.
